Love Your Lenses Week

Love Your Lenses Toolkit 2019Love Your Lenses Week is a time for everyone who has anything to do with contact lenses – from wearers to opticians to manufacturers – to remember that if you love your eyes, love your lenses.

The first ever Love Your Lenses Week took place in 2017 and saw eye care professionals, professional bodies, employers and manufacturers across the UK joining forces to remind contact lens wearers of the importance of following aftercare advice.

Since the first Love Your Lenses Week started, information relating to the campaign has been shared millions of times on social media and resulted in coverage on the BBC website, The Sun and in various regional newspapers.

Love Your Lenses Week 2019 will take place on 23-30 March 2019 and is set to be even bigger and better!

Once again the optical industry will work together to run offers and events and to inform contact lens wearers of the steps they need to follow to keep their eyes healthy. The week will also be a focal point for practitioners wanting to get involved with innovative ways to ‘land the message’ about aftercare more effectively with patients.

We are holding a webinar on Monday 25th March 5pm about the 2019 Love Your Lenses activity.

We will be discussing how practitioners can better ‘land the message’ about contact lens aftercare advice, using the three tools we have developed. Q&A session at the end.
